We teamed up with Big Head Club to create an NFT mint site for their Mini-Puft NFT drop, tied to the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The collection also included a mix of 1/1 special editions, and some fun mechanics using ghost traps.

The site featured a newly released 1/1 vignette for each of the 12 days leading up to the release of the full Mini-Puft collection. To carry the chaotic flavor of Mini-Pufts right through the site, we animated one character crashing right into your screen.

The smart contract contained some fun mechanics, where collectors could trap a rogue Mini-Puft if it randomly entered their crypto wallet. To do so, they needed to pick up a Ghost Trap, keep an eye on their wallet, and have good timing. We helped created a system to explain and use the Ghost Trap functionality.

We collaborated closely with Big Head Club, working at speed to manage front-end/smart contract integration and rounds of feedback from the Sony and Ghostbusters team. It was rad to see the site go live on launch day after a whole lotta hard work.

With so many Ghostbusters fans on the team, it was super exciting to work on a project tied to such an iconic film release.

The Mini-Puft artwork was produced by The Lost Pixels Inc. It was provided as static artwork, but with the help of our motion designer we were able to bring the pufts and other elements to life — all under a very intense deadline.

Let’s work together

We’re addicts for the high we get when launching apps we’re proud of. If you’re ready to dig in and make some magic together, drop us a line.
