We're on the hunt for a Client Partner who can help us attract, estimate, land and launch awesome projects. The right person will bring a mix of technical chops and lots of EQ to help us sell, close, and onboard new clients. We get lots of rad inbound leads, but we also do targeted outreach to attract the types of projects we’d love to work on.
As our first Client Partner, you'll work with our Head of Growth to own the bottom-of-funnel convos that result from our marketing efforts. You'll also bring in some leads of your own. You'll have deep convos with potential clients to understand what they're trying to build, and — if it's the kind of thing we do — you'll help us plan, estimate and pitch for the work. On occasion, you might take on an RFP too. This means understanding strategy, design and development across a wide (fun!) range of industries and client types.
Once we land a project, you'll work with our Product Managers to resource and schedule the work. You'll maintain good relationships with clients during and after their launch. And, if you have strategic and operational ideas to help us improve along the way, we're all ears.
You have 3+ years of business development experience at a technology company, closing $100k+ deals. But you're not salesy — you get that there's an art to building relationships and landing projects. You're self-directed, passionate and curious about product. You love to read, learn and hang out with people building cool things. You've got a strategic mind, and enjoy improving processes. You're a team player who likes to lift people up (metaphorically, not literally). Bonus points: you've got experience doing product work as a PM, marketer, developer or designer.
